Pico/Olympic Proposal -

the Mayor's Pico/Olympic Proposal - City Transportation Committee-
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2008 2:00 PM
ROOM 340, CITY HALL - 200 NORTH SPRING STREET
LOS ANGELES, CA 90012

Wednesday (February 13th) the City Transportation Committee will hear the final proposal from DOT on the Mayor's Pico/Olympic Proposal.

This is the day before the WNC mtng when we are scheduled to vote on this issue.

Several Neighborhood Councils will be mtng after the 13th and we have all asked that it be moved until February 27th but were denied our request.

The committee is chaired by Councilmember Wendy Greuel, with Councilmember, Parks, LaBonge and Rosendahl as members.

Terri Tippit will speak on behalf of the WNC and state for the record that we asked for the date to be changed so the WNC could have submitted its motion to the committee. With that said she will continue with the WNC Townhall mtng attended by over 400 people and that the majority of those who participated in the straw vote could not support this proposal because questions and concerns that have been raised have not been adequately answered.

Every one will have 2 mins. to speak. We encourage as many of you as possible to attend the mtng. and make sure your concern is raised.
