Walk Pico Streetscape is Here!
UPDATES:
Our Walk Pico streetscape Project is moving along!
We started work on this MTA Call for Projects Grant in August 2022 and expect completion by April 2024. The grant includes streetscape improvements to Pico Boulevard to enhance walkability and to provide more safety to all modes of travel on Pico.
Improvements include new sidewalks, ADA ramps. crosswalks, medians, bump outs, a new pedestrian/bike controlled signal at Tennessee and Westwood and new Pedestrian Lighting at Bus Shelters. Signage that honors the area’s history is also included.
The WNC is very excited to bring this much needed upgrade to our beloved Pico Boulevard. Stay tuned for more updates to this project!
